Sunflora

Sunflora gains energy from the sun.  It has a habit of going in pursuit of the sunlight for energy.
Sunflora is based off of a sunflower.  I like it, but how does that add up to in battling?  Well, I can't really guarantee you'll find any satisfactory with this Pokemon.  Sunflora has an acceptable HP, Attack, and Sp. Defense stats, but not the best.  Sunflora suffers by having low Defense and Speed.  Combine that with 5 Super-effective weaknesses, you might find some trouble with Sunflora.  What it doesn't have for those stats it makes up for in Sp. Attack, with a base of 105!
A majority of Sunflora's "Level-up" moves are mostly Grass-Type.  It doesn't give you a whole lot of options, so you should probably stick to the TM's and HM's.  You could make Sunflora a "Sunny Day-SolarBeam Pokemon.  It can also learn Leaf Storm, or if you're desperate, Petal Dance.  To prevent being confused after Petal Dance makes its mark, use Safeguard first, then you use Petal Dance.  You could give it Hyper Beam because of Sunflora's high Sp. Attack stat, but it's not something I prefer.
Sunflora has two abilities which are Chlorophyll and Solar Power.  Chlorophyll makes your Speed stat go up in Sunny weather conditions.  It's really useful considering how low slow Sunflora is.  Solar Power is also okay, and a little similar to Chlorophyll.  In Sunny weather conditions, your Sp. Attack increases, but you lose  some HP every turn.  That's why I would prefer Chlorophyll.
I think you might want to be careful if you wind up using Sunflora, because it's very rare to see Sunflora in the upper tiers.
