Gallade is awesome. Before this thing was invented, having male Ralts and Kirlia didn't seem right. Now that they made an evolution for Kirlia that needs it to be male to evolve, it actually makes sense to have a male Kirlia or Ralts. Anyway, Gallade has high Attack and Sp. Defense stats. The high Attack is useful, and somewhat predictable, seeing as how by evolving from Kirlia, Gallade becomes part Fighting-Type. Gallade's two lowest stats are its Defense and Sp. Attack stats. Gallade has many Physical attacks so low Sp. Attack doesn't really matter, but low Defense isn't exactly the greatest thing on Gallade. Most Ghost-and-Flying-Type moves are Physical than Special, so it makes Gallade a little vulnerable, but it has many good moves to make up for that. Gallade has fairly substantial HP and Speed stats.
Gallade has good STAB moves- Close Combat, Brick Break, and Psycho Cut just to name a few. He can learn Heal Pulse. In Double, Triple, and Rotation battles, you can aim it at allies with a low amount of HP. It'll restore the ally Pokemon's HP- it works like a charm. Gallade can use Swords Dance, which sharply raises your Attack stat. Considering how high of a base Attack stat Gallade has already, making it higher would make him a Physical monster. Gallade also learns a really good move by breeding that's called Destiny Bond. If you use it, then the Pokemon who knocks you it in battle goes down with you. It is the one of the best moves you could possibly ask for. All in all, Gallade has a good movepool.
Our friend Gallade has the ability called Steadfast. When you flinch, your Speed stat goes up by 1. Opponents don't typically use a strategy that includes constantly making your Pokemon flinch. Anyway, the ability isn't exactly the best ability, but it's not terrible or anything.
So Gallade is just another one of those Pokemon that's always gonna be strong and useful. A great design and movepool makes Gallade another great Pokemon.
