Delibird

Delibird is a nice Pokemon that carries food rolled up in its tail.  Some people's lives have been saved because Delibird gives them some of its stored food.  They have nests on the edges of sharp cliffs, and spend most of the day finding food for its chicks.
In celebration of Christmas Eve and Christmas, I'm reviewing a Christmas-like Pokemon.  It's Delibird.  Despite him looking kinda like a penguin, he can actually fly, as seen in the anime.  I like Delibird.  However, he has low stats.  His highest stat is his Speed, and that's only a base of 75.  He has a base HP stat of 45, an Attack of 55, a Defense of 45, a Sp. Attack of 65, and a Sp. Defense stat of 45.  Yeah, not really strong.
The only move Delibird learns by Level Up is Present.  It's a move that can be very risky.  If you use it on opponents, they might either take damage, or have their HP healed.  Same thing with allies in Double, Triple, or Rotation battles.  You might either restore their HP or decrease their HP.  Fortunately, Delibird can learn some TM's and HM's, as well as Move Tutors in 4th gen, and he has some breeding moves.  He can use Aurora Beam, Future Sight, and Rapid Spin.  Not too bad.  In 4th gen, he can learn AWESOME tutor moves.  Seed Bomb, Sky Attack, Signal Beam, Bounce, Swift, even Gunk Shot!!!  Delibird's just filled with surprises.
Delibird has two abilities.  One is Vital Spirit, meaning he can never fall under the SLEEP status condition.  Kind of cool, unless you plan on teaching this thing Rest.  The other ability is Hustle, meaning that Delibird takes a little less damage from Physical Attacks, but his average accuracy is lowered.  Not the best ability out there, I would stick with Vital Spirit.
I wouldn't really recommend using Delibird, but I still like him.  However, he does have some Up Sides.  Merry Christmas!
